Students in the Physician Assistant Studies department have access to additional resources and organizations to help prepare them for a professional career as a physician's assistant.

AAPA is the national professional society for physician assistants. AAPA focuses on improving the professional growth, abilities and recognition of PAs. 

SAAAPA includes all student members of AAPA. This separate structure has it's own  Student Board of Directors, which guides Student Academy affairs.

The purpose of NCCPA is providing certification programs that will fully prepare PA students to begin their careers.

CASPA is the sole nationwide program that represents PA education programs. One of CASPA's services is to simplify the PA school application process.

PSPA represents physician assistants in Pennsylvania. PSPA's goals are to improve the PA education process to enhance quality medical care and to promote professionalism, loyalty and understanding in and of the PA profession.

NJSSPA represents members of the PA profession in New Jersey. NJSSPA promotes education, advocacy and partnership in order to improve the quality and affordability of health care.

DAPA provides quality health care to people in Delaware by educating PAs and students. DAPA provides PAs, friends and students with general business meetings, an annual conference and monthly networking opportunities.

PAEA is the only national organization that represents U.S. PA education programs. PAEA supports and provides opportunities for PA program faculty, applicants, students and stakeholders.

ARC-PA is an accrediting agency, which defines the standards for PA education based on evaluations of PA educational programs in the U.S. ARC-PA protects the public and the PA profession.
