The Balance and Hearing Center within the Department of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery has a mission to provide the highest quality in patient care, education, and research. Our team of physicians, and certified audiologists offer full evaluation, treatment, and rehabilitation for hearing loss, ear disease, dizziness, and balance disorders.

Center for Head & Neck Surgery

The Jefferson Center for Head and Neck Surgery has created a team of surgeons dedicated to providing compassionate and comprehensive care for patients with these malignant (cancerous) and benign (non-cancerous) tumors and medical issues surrounding them.

Minimally Invasive Cranial Base Surgery & Endoscopic Neurosurgery Center

The Minimally Invasive Cranial Base Surgery & Endoscopic Neurosurgery Center offers a new treatment alternative for people with benign and malignant brain tumors, many of which were previously inaccessible or required extensive and lengthy operations. This minimally invasive procedure uses endoscopic navigation through the nose and nasal sinuses to gain access to the cranial base and brain.

Facial Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery Center

Physicians of Jefferson's Herbert Kean Center for Facial Aesthetics provide medical and dental evaluation, counseling and management for problems of appearance, injury and tumors. The Center is also one of the premier destinations for cosmetic procedures including face-lifts, eyelid-lifts, rhinoplasty, Botox®, dermabrasion, scar revisions and chemical peels as well as many other procedures. 

Thyroid & Parathyroid Center

The Jefferson Thyroid and Parathyroid Center (JTPC) in Philadelphia is staffed by board-certified head and neck surgeons and endocrinologists. They are dedicated to the comprehensive care of treating your thyroid or parathyroid disease, such as hyperparathyroidism and hypothyroidism, from diagnosis through treatment and/or surgery.

Voice & Swallowing Center

The Jefferson Voice and Swallowing Center, a joint program with the SKMC Department of Rehabilitation Medicine and housed within the Department of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery, provides comprehensive state-of-the-art evaluation and treatment of disorders affecting the voice and swallowing.
