Jefferson Sleep Disorders Center
The Jefferson Sleep Disorders Center is a state-of-the-art facility featuring 10 fully equipped beds. It is conveniently located within the outpatient building alongside the academic offices of sleep medicine physicians and other specialized sleep clinics.
The center delivers comprehensive care across all areas of sleep medicine to patients throughout the Delaware Valley and beyond. Established in 1978, it was the first program of its kind in the Philadelphia region and is accredited by the American Academy of Sleep Medicine (AASM). Each year, the center evaluates more than 1,500 patients and conducts over 2,000 sleep studies. It also hosts an active Sleep Medicine Fellowship dedicated to training the next generation of sleep physicians.
As a multidisciplinary center, Jefferson Sleep Disorders Center brings together experts in Pulmonary Medicine, Psychiatry, Neurology and Family Medicine to provide integrated, patient-centered care. The Center also offers specialized programs in Sleep-related Otolaryngology Sleep Apnea Surgery | Jefferson Health, and collaborates with a comprehensive Weight Management Program.
The Jefferson Sleep Disorders Center was recently designated as a RLS Quality Care Center, RLS Quality Care Centers - Restless Legs Syndrome Foundation by the Restless Legs Syndrome Foundation for its excellence in treating RLS.
