Dual MD/MPH Program

The MD/MPH dual degree option is open to students enrolled in Sidney Kimmel Medical College (SKMC). Students complete coursework for the MPH between Phases 2 and 3 of medical school education.

The Joseph Gonnella Scholarship covers a substantial portion of MPH tuition and fees and is available to eligible SKMC students.

Physicians with the MPH degree are prepared to make a difference at the patient's side and in the community. The degree provides advanced training in research and education and informs clinical practice with underserved populations. Physicians with an MPH degree assume leadership positions in the healthcare setting, in state and local public health departments, non-governmental health organizations, and in the global context.
