Sustainability in the Age of Coronavirus: Flattening the Curve for a Sustainable Future

Robert Fleming, AIA, LEED, AP, is the Co-creator and Director of the award-winning Master of Science in Sustainable Design Program at Thomas Jefferson University. The program has received national awards from the United States Green Building Council and from the National Institute for Building Sciences. Rob is the author of Design Education for a Sustainable Future (2013); co-author of Space Planning Basics (2016), co-author of Sustainable Design for the Built Environment (2019), and his new 2020 book, Sustainable Design Basics. He is also a Sustainability Fellow at Re:Vision Architecture in Philadelphia where he consults and facilitates integrated design charettes. 

His guiding principles are:
