Welcome! It is my honor and privilege to be able to work with committed faculty and residents who are enthusiastic about teaching and developing the next generation of physicians. We emphasize the importance of a family physician who serves the needs of patients and families in their own communities and advances health equity through care of our vulnerable populations.  While our students rotate at Jefferson Family Medicine Associates, one of the largest primary care clinics in the country, various community sites in Philadelphia, and affiliates sites across the tri-state area, they learn about the breadth and diversity within Family Medicine. We are committed to creating a learning environment that emphasizes well-being and supports relationships between our learners and those who teach and mentor them. Our goal is to teach students how to utilize and apply what they have learned to advocate for patients and to be future leaders dedicated to advancing the principles of diversity, inclusion, and social justice. We believe it is important for every learner to understand what Family medicine does, and we encourage you to learn more about us and what we do!
