This Situation
Contrary to popular belief, COVID-19 does not impact just the elderly or those with compromised health. Brianne Boyle is living proof. At 24 she contracted COVID-19, battled it for eight months and ended up on life support. Lucky to be alive, Brianne came to Magee Rehabilitation Hospital at Jefferson Health for intensive therapy and has made a remarkable recovery – in no small part because of the hard work of her team of physical therapists, occupational therapists and speech-language pathologists.
