Kanbar College of Design, Engineering & Commerce

Kanbar College offers an innovative and transdisciplinary approach to teaching and learning that provides students with the skills and knowledge to think creatively, brainstorm out-of-the-box ideas and work collaboratively to discover innovative solutions to complex problems. Through an integrated core curriculum, students gain the added value of expertise in related fields, as well as deep discipline-specific knowledge. The program retains the core learning of each major while forging new collaborations between designers, engineers and business practices.

Accounting

Accounting at Thomas Jefferson University is ACSBP-accredited and prepares for careers in public accounting, corporate accounting and similar positions in government and non-profit settings. The program enables students to earn their MBA with one additional year of study, including an opportunity to successfully complete the CPA examination as a part of the program. This five-year MBA/CPA program includes a scholarship to the preeminent national Becker CPA Examination Review Course, which can be taken during your last year of study.

Animation and Digital Media

Animation and Digital Media at Thomas Jefferson University is nationally recognized for developing skilled animators and designers with the necessary talent, creativity and skillsets to meet the ever-changing communication needs of a growing marketplace. Create and exhibit short animated films; gain experience animating in 2D, 3D and for emergent digital media like Augmented and Virtual Reality; and score top internships at companies like Comcast, the Philadelphia Flyers, QVC or MindTV.

Engineering, BSE

Engineering at Thomas Jefferson University is ABET-accredited and develops engineering design, prototype and analysis capabilities with access to modern computer-aided design and simulation tools. Develop critical skills working in teams and managing interdisciplinary groups, get a broad appreciation for the business, user experience and systems thinking associated with the development of engineering products and services, and have the opportunity to pursue a concentration in industrial and systems, textile or biopharmaceutical process development disciplines.

Fashion Design

Fashion Design at Thomas Jefferson University is internationally recognized. The program treats students as professionals from day one. Design collections for the Annual Fashion Show which attracts an audience of 2,000 industry insiders, and collaborate with companies like Isaac Mizrahi, Target and Free People. Prepare with a global view of the industry, though the semester-long New York Immersion course where you will work with NYC design professionals, and study abroad or take short course in Rome, Paris, Japan, Florence and Milan.
