Special Events Coordinator
Responsibilities
Assist in the organization and execution of special events, including professional development training, webinars, conferences, and student and faculty events. The individual will work closely with members of the JCPH leadership team, faculty, and staff to manage events and related promotion activities.
Essential Functions
- Interacts with co-workers, visitors, and other staff consistent with the values of Jefferson.
- Plan and manage assigned projects, with special focus on marketing, timelines, milestones, deliverables, and logistics.
- Maintain clear and timely communications with all individuals associated with each event.
- Oversee on-site and virtual logistics for events, including registration, badges, materials for attendees, food and beverage, A/V equipment, webinar room, and others.
Qualifications
Educational/Training Requirements
High School Diploma or GED required. Bachelor's Degree preferred.
Experience Requirements
2 + years in Event Planning.
Additonal Information
Must be experienced in Microsoft Office, and virtual conference platforms.
