Population Health Academy Workforce Development Programs

The Population Health Academy Workforce Development Programs offer ​practical training for health professionals working to address today's most pressing health care ​challenges. Designed to enhance your career, these diverse and innovative programs provide college-level learning solutions, led by JCPH faculty and community experts. 

Attend one of our upcoming sessions ​and gain skills that will help you to succeed in population health, quality and safety, and value-based care.  

Population Health Essentials offers a 3-day comprehensive overview of population health and outlines the fundamentals necessary to improve outcomes and reduce costs.

Through case studies and real-life workforce applications, participants will review and analyze key areas of population health.

This 2-day workshop session builds upon concepts learned in Population Health Essentials and provides the opportunity for participants to focus on developing actionable strategies and practical solutions specific to their organization’s needs.

Session requirement: successful completion of Population Health Essentials or previous Population Health Academy graduate

The Operational Excellence Boot Camp is an intensive and interactive 2-day program. Participants will apply lean thinking, process improvement, and change management strategies to increase operational efficiency within their organization. 

High Reliability Health Care Academy

In partnership with Safe and Reliable Healthcare, this 11-week live and interactive virtual training program is designed to guide participants through an in-depth examination of the Framework for High Reliability Healthcare, including strategies and tactics to achieve High Reliability. 

Managing the pandemic completely changed expectations for healthcare teams and their leaders. We often hear about the new normal, but what does that mean in terms of changes to day-to-day operations?

Over three consecutive weeks, the series will review the leadership skills, activities and behaviors that can create happier, healthier teams and lead to better experiences for patients.

The Jefferson Accelerating Performance Excellence (APEX) Program is designed as a modular, flexible learning system with direct and immediate application to your program or organizational improvement needs and goals. We work with organizations to develop customizable programs to build interprofessional knowledge and team work for their leaders
